Ligna 2015

This year, the Ligna show in Hanover did emphasize the topic of the ”Connected Factory”, a topic likewise interesting for visitors as well as exhibitors.
For the first time, the Ligna show organized in cooperation with Lignum Consulting, guided tours addressing the topic of the “Connected Factory”. The guided tours proved to be a complete success as the tours met great interest and were quickly sold out.
The opening station of each guided tour was at the booth of Lignum Consulting, where Jens Hoppe introduced the 7 BUILDING BLOCKS of the “Connected Factory”. Here the audience was given an overview, which areas in a company need to be in alignment in order to connect the processes and information flows.
Presenting a 3-D orbital model, Mr. Hoppe explained the underlying topics of the 7 building blocks, their relations and their interdependencies.
Based on this model, Lignum Consulting has developed a business evaluation approach that allows mapping out a company’s individual course of action, leading to a long-term sustainable business development.
Being totally neutral and independent allows Lignum Consulting to work out the best solutions possible in the clients’ interest.
This business approach is a strong argument with many clients and visitors at the show, looking for a strong partner at their side, who only works in their interest and implements with them the optimum solution for their business.
