Andreas Meyer has been with Lignum Consulting GmbH since 2025. Prior to that, he carried out numerous projects in the areas of quality management, product development, application engineering, and standardization.

After completing his carpentry apprenticeship and studying wood technology at the Rosenheim Technical College, Mr. Meyer worked for 32 years in management positions in the wood and furniture industry as well as in the supplier industry. He gained further professional experience as a publicly appointed and sworn furniture expert (kitchens, case goods, upholstered furniture).

His profile is rounded off by his participation in numerous expert committees (expert council at the BVDM; working groups of the AMK in the field of technology and standardization; DIN standards committees (furniture surface, case furniture); DGM (RAL GZ 430) and member of the board of trustees at the IHD/eph testing institute).
