Dieter Rezbach
Founder & Owner
Dieter Rezbach is the founder of Lignum Consulting.
Mr. Rezbach has completed an apprenticeship as cabinetmaker and has studied wood technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Rosenheim. He added a degree in economics and business administration from the FH Pforzheim and an MBA in Birmingham/England. In 1987 he joined a consulting company where he was later promoted to member of the board and partner.
In 2003 he founded Lignum Consulting.
He is active in several industry committees. He is for example member of the industry advisory committee at the Hochschule Rosenheim, founder advisory board and member of the Netzwerk Holzindustrie BW and Senator of Economy Germany.

20 years of Lignum Consulting
On May 9, 2003, Dieter Rezbach and Dieter Haas founded Lignum Consulting GmbH as an independent and neutral consulting firm and engineering office serving the Wood and Furniture Industry.
15 years of Lignum Consulting
With completed projects in more than 35 countries and being actively engaged in different industry committees and initiatives, Lignum Consulting is celebrating their fifteenth anniversary.

Due to the founding date 09.05.2003 we celebrated our 10th anniversary with a round of ice cream at the Ligna on the same day (09.05.2013). Numerous customers, friends and acquaintances used the opportunity and enjoyed their "Ice Age" on the booth of Lignum Consulting GmbH on Father's Day.

The 10th anniversary of Lignum Consulting was reason enough for a nice party together with 180 guests who made this success possible. On this occasion, Lignum Consulting and its customers donated a climbing frame for the local kindergarten to the municipality of Kupferzell.
Founding of Lignum Consulting Ltda.
On January 1, 2010 Lignum Consulting Ltda. was founded with headquarter in São Bento do Sul in Brazil. Oliver Barge is the CEO.

Lignum Consulting GmbH celebrates with customers and friends the opening of the newly constructed office building in Kupferzell. It is a technically modern and creatively designed two-floor building with approx. 800 m² floor space. The building offers employees and customers ideal framework conditions for creative work projects and training courses.

On June 19, 2009 Lignum Consulting GmbH moves into the new office building: Am Wasserturm 23 in 74635 Kupferzell, Germany.
Business alliance with Lignum Consulting Inc. in the US and Canada
As part of a management buy-out, Eberhard Reyer will lead the management consultancy based in Charlotte NC, USA, a division managed by him successfully for many years. It now operates under the company name Lignum Consulting Inc.
Lignum Consulting GmbH and Lignum Consulting Inc. enter into a strategic alliance for mutual participation. Lignum Consulting Inc. operates mainly in the North American region.
