INITIAL SITUATION

APPROACH
- Incorporation of existing standard blanks and packaging methods
- Development of required packaging designs
o The required protective effect must be established
o Minimum variance of designs for maximum variance of components
o Consideration of any pre-assembled fttings (e.g. hinges)
o Only one cardboard blank per component
- Verification of the protective effects with various tests
