CURRENT SITUATION


  • The company is well established in the market as a supplier of wood-based materials and furniture components and is distinguished by its high degree of flexibility, strong technical expertise, consistent quality, and reliable on-time delivery.
  • As part of the generational transition and the next generation’s ambitious growth plans, the company began assessing whether its existing organizational structure would meet future requirements.
  • The leadership structure, allocation of responsibilities, and organizational clarity were identified as the key areas for action.
  • The objective of the project was to develop a future-ready organizational structure with clearly defined roles, tasks, and responsibilities.

APPROACH


  • During a two-day workshop with the management team, the market environment, the company’s strengths, and its development opportunities were analyzed collaboratively.
  • In addition, the existing allocation of responsibilities and decision-making authority was evaluated, and alternative organizational approaches were developed.
  • Alternative organizational models were developed and evaluated, and a preferred option was then selected.
  • Based on the preferred option, a target operating model for the company’s future structure was developed and presented as an organizational model.
